Precision or however you spell it. A building down from Shawn's shop.

Just something else to think about, some of the pricing difference often comes down to whether they have that color/type of powder already in-house. If they don't have the powder in stock (for example it's a strange color), they may have to buy a few pounds or whatever the minimum size may be, and that cost is often passed along to you if they don't think they'll use that color again any time soon.

I know that doesn't matter in this case and sounds kind of random, but I'm just throwing that out there as something I've learned over the years about powdercoaters.

My wheels will be there Thursday or Friday to get done. I swear I'm keeping that man in business.

powder is about the cheapest part of the whole ordeal, the biggest cost you deal with is the company recouping the cost of the ovens (the next being the prep work). The powder needed to do 1 wheel is around a buck, if that. Most powder company sells product in varying quantities for small or larger jobs, so even if they need to special order powder that cost really shouldn't be passed to the customer since the cost of the powder factored into the price in the first place. (shouldn't, doesn't mean the company won't do it)

I finally got tired of paying for powder coating and just do it myself now (for my own things, not a business).
