Are Honda Motors really made ready to be Boosted?
haha..if tuned well they hold up fine.. pretty much all of the honda engines do well with boost..
the s2k actually makes like 100-120 more whp with like 7 psi.. you dont think thats good? i would much rather have high compression and FI on top of that for the street.. if tuned right its killer..
its all in the tuning.

I dunno about with other engines, but I know that in the h22 not only the bottom end has bad luck with boost, but also the head is a weak part....anything over 8psi is unsafe on the valves, so the h22 in whole is a pain in the ass to boost... but im still gonna attempt it
Say what you want but I have it seems that only in the mags are people able to run the mystical 2 bar of boost on stock bottom ends with thier supposed daily driven Honda's. Honda engines can do well in a FI application, but from what I have seen the non-vtec cars do much better than the Vtec equipped engines, someone was sitting down with me and tried to explain that there's something with the switchover engagement that causes the engine to have a slight hiccup for a split second, and using a bolt on FI, it only magnifies this, and causes the engine to wear down faster. I could be wrong and if so someone will either correct or add to this. But in my opinion if you are going FI get a ls or h23 car and FI that setup. And for the love of god man stop saying boost. Oh yeah plus the magical word Tuning, yeah I heard in certain dark circles that this helps too.
