what EXACTLY do you mean doing it right? i can understand not half assing on hoses and stuff like that but was there anything else you messed up on or any advice you can lend to people doing the conversion? im considering taking it up myself.
i have a completly built ls/vtec, but before i could put it in i had to leave the states for 6 months(italy) so i'll have it running when i get back, spent about 8,500 total.
i herad you have to drill two holes in the block, i think its for adding more fuel? i really forgot what people said. ls/vtec is pretty damn nasty when done right.

my boy rob bought a ls/vtec hatch from this site..the guy hadnt fixed the knock sensor problem so the gsr wasnt even engaging..he fixed that and his shit is beast smoked a b16 crix
