even if you stay with stock compression, i would advise you to look into some forged rods. 8-10 psi is enough for mid 200whp and dd-able

thanks again for the responses....car is on 10lbs at the moment..i have a few more questions lol..so i was replacing the turbo with a new one..just another shitty ebay one until i build the motor more..but as i started taking stuff off i have come to find out that the dumb ass who has the car before me used pvc pipin for most of the intercooler piping..i already order new actual piping..but i also saw that instead of getting a turbo oil pan he took some rubber hose and ran it from the front of the oil pan to the (im assuming) drain end? the feed line (i believe it is) is braided which i know it should be..but what should i do about that problem? i mean all the hoses are pretty much rubber...like for example my bov run from my IM to the intercooler piping right where the intercooler piping elbows into the intercooler itself...i just need help...ill post pics of whatever...but i cannot believe how muh half ass shit i ran into tonight..sorry for the long text im jsut venting lol..please...ANY help with be so appreciated i wanna make the car perfectly right

Since you can get one for less then $20K now, you shouldn't have to save long unless you can't afford one to begin with

the steel braided feed line isnt an issue and its used by 99% of the builds ive seen. the rubber return line from the turbo to the pan is fine also. the pvc piping is true nigga-rigging and not worth a damn.

Take all the money that you would spend on doing upgrades to the B16 and the turbo, and use it to save for the car you actually want. Every dime you spend unnecessarily upgrading the car you aren't saving for is a dime you aren't putting toward the one that you want. Either you're trying to save, or you aren't.

some of are not so fortunate nor made of money..im rather young and live on my own and pay for all my bill/house by myself... it will take me a couple years to save most of the money cause im not gonna have a $300 a month car payment...

yea the pvc is straight jerry rigging...i couldnt believe it when i pulled off the front bumper.. so no having a braided return line is no issue? also does it matter if the feed line is hooked up at the "bottom of the turbo" and the return on the "top"?
