Like pretty much every roadster from that era that isn't British, I love it. Can't wait to see the progress, and you're a lot braver than I am to take on something with that stage of chassis rust. Very cool.

what stage of chassis rust? it has minor rust in the floor pans? you cut out and replace it...

Yea, the rust isn't too bad, I'm kinda annoyed by it, but my dad is currently restoring a Mini Cooper S and entire sections of the body had to be cut out and replaced on it so really this is cake. The trunk is in great shape though!! haha

take the car and have it blasted,soda or sand it will save you tons of time in the future...being as its stripped its the best time to do it..

I would have called BS at that point. No such thing as a rust free Datsun. They came from the factory with rust as a standard feature
