I was just going to suggest that. its nearly impossible for me to go down there and not get a funky chicken, the only thing that can get me passed it is going to bardo, I love that place. but fuck it, im off tomorrow...if theres a solidly decided place post it up and Ill try to make it down there.

Nor have I, but the frequency that the higher profile people on this site eat there I figured everyone would know that the funky chicken sandwich is at "No Frill Bar and Grill" off Colley and Spotswood in the Ghent section of Norfolk.

I've never even heard of the place. I don't live in Norfolk, I only work there, and that rarely takes me into Ghent. I never really considered Ghent to be downtown.
