just in case anyone was still lookin for the number to the company on WNIS, i called them up and got it. it's combat coating in virginia beach. 468 9020

EDIT: i put a call into combat coating. they dont actually do the coating. they do some metal coating, but not heat coating or powder coating. they referred me to Van Winn Coating over in Chesapeake/Suffolk. Their number is 487-5080 and have a $100 minimum on powdercoating so they suggest you bring a lot of stuff at one time because it is more cost efficient.

 

Van Winn Coating was the company I was thinking about. I couldn't remember the name, but I have seen their work and it is very first rate.

 

I just heard Van-Winn Coatings new ad on the radio and one of the things they specifically mention in their ad is powdercoating car parts FWIW. I have not personally used their services, but I have seen parts done by them, and they were first rate.

 

I have a friend who works for Bay Mechanical, I've had a few things powdercoated there.
