Epic deal on the G17, but why sell so soon?

 

Thanks man. I like the gun, just looking to maybe get something that will fit my hands a little bit better.

 

With myself not being "hands-on"-familiar with the 4-gens: Is the frame of this gun similar in size to the Glock 20 (10mm), or is it roughly the size of a normal Glock 17?

Just curious, because I have a G17 RTF2, and I've heard the 4-gens are "bigger".

 

Hmm, not sure on the G20 as I have no experience with it. I was able to "fondle" the 17 with RTF2 and as I recall the frame on it did not feel much different. At this point cant really remember. Its a great shootin gun, just looking to switch to something more compact.

Gen4 G17's have the 2 backstraps you can add on to adjust the grip. Basically its like a small, med, large. Medium being like your Gen3 G17, Large being like a G21 non-SF.

 

That's pretty sweet, being interchangable. It's crazy how long it took Glock to get some actual grip going on their weaponry, though. I was never really a fan of their grips on earlier Glock models, but the RTF2 is perfect. I'd love to get my hands on this one here
