Cool. Would a noob to auto-x make a fool of himself by trying?

i think this will be a great opportunity to be introduced into autocrossing

mazda really did a great job organizing this last year, and i expect it to be even better this year

I think it would be the best place for a noob to try, especially if they didn't have a suitalbe car, or wanted to not use their own car as a first timer.

Of course I think you will do better if you do have a car by comming to one of the local events and especially autocross schools if you can. But that does not detract from going to the Rev It Up.

 

I'm not seeing my MKIV doing well on a road course, but I'd love to try.

 

That is why this would be a great event for you. You autocross in Mazda's cars.
