IF you want to you could give USAA a call....they are really good to me and they actually help me out....fyi....im paying $130 a month for a 99 accord...01 integra...and renters insurance....to me thats pretty good due to i have somewhat newer cars

USAA is only for Govt/Military... or just Military.. I have them.

Or are they public now? USAA is great.

You are right and wrong. USAA is not public, if you have no affiliation a all you can't get a policy, if your father was militray and had a USAA policy then you qualify, if your ex wife had USAA you qualify if you were covered at one time with them. USAA eligibility is handed down to children and ex dependents and of course military and government. Just FYI.

Will my dependants get to use USAA also? I'm not military. Or just the direct dependants of my father, since he's the retired OE?

Are you USAA now? If so then your children will and their children will, you probably became eligible by your Father or mother? It will keep going down to your dependents.

EDIT:Oops reread your post, since your father was the Military person and you are eligible as an ex dependent and so will your children. So yes to your question, not only your father's DIRECT DEPENDENTS.
