if your deductible is $250 i wouldnt even get insurance involved they will probably come out and replace the windshield for less money than that.

ive used glass masters several times and they have always had the best prices ive seen.

and with insurance, if you have full glass with your comprehensive coverage, you can get your glass repaired/replaced for free. if not, most carriers charge you the full comprehensive deductible.

If you want quality I can do it. If you want cheap go to one of those budget shops like glassmasters and have your car fucked. There is more to proper auto glass installation than people think. all these cheap shops will cause your car to have rust. the tools used to remove glass and prep the body for new glass leave small scratches in the paint along the glue-line. if these small scratches are not properly prepped the exposed metal rusts and rust spreads like cancer. I have yet to see any of the cheap places properly install a windshield, even once. I properly install windshields everyday for the past 8 years and am certified in every thing I do. And in thousands of windshields i have never had one leak. I fix the leaks from other glass shops that do not guarantee their work every week. spend the extra bucks if you care about your car and go to a shop that takes pride in what they do.

Happened to my wife's brand new civic twice back in the day when they were paving 264. I tipped the guy that came over to change it and that was it. Didn't have to pay a dime since insurance (GEICO) covered it.
