its an 03- but the R6 was the same from 03-05. Could be somewhat negotiable on the price, or accept rifle/shotgun as partial payment, if you make the deal easy

Just venting some frustration -

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/mcy/2277982409.html

This is the crap I'm dealing with. I email the 'guy' (goes to a girl's email). Finally get a response, eventually couple hours later a male figure calls me (won't call this guy a gentleman as he's a dishonest prick).

Me: "How many miles on the bike?"
Him: "25,000. . . I mean 30,000"
Me: "30,000 exactly?"
Him: "Like 32[k] something"
Me: "So why does it have a flat in the picture?"
Him: "It doesn't have a flat. . ."
Me: "I'm looking right at the picture; it has a flat"
Him: "Oh, thats because of it just sitting for so long, all it needed was to be pumped up"
Me: "Dude, the bead is off the rim, that's not from sitting."
Him: "I just painted the rims after that" [Which still doesn't account for the bead being off the rim . . .]
Me: (As I'm envisioning some idiot painting the rims with tires still on them i.e. crap ton of overspray) Well has the bike ever been dropped or fallen over?
Him: "Umm, Ye. . . well no, its never been down. . . it has all new plastics"
Me: "Why would you put new plastics if its never been down?"
Him: "Well its fallen over twice. . . but those were both in parking lots. . . "
Me: "How are the handlebar ends?"
Him: "Well the handlebar is a little bent on one side and the brake handle end is broken off on one side, and on the other the shifter end is broken off"
Me: "From falling over in a parking lot? And you had to change the plastics?"
Him: "Yeah"

It wasn't worth any more questions after that. He couldn't keep his stories straight, I'm not wasting 4 hours to go look at an overpriced piece of garbage. $5k for a 32k miles, 'dropped' twice, piece of garbage? No thanks. Nice looking scheme, just tired of dealing with idiots.
