Correct, my dad did do all the dealings and honestly I don't remember what I paid for it. The guy drives a silver 330i bmw probably an 01 or so. I realized I messed up when I bought the car in a rush and didn't check carfax but it was a spur of the moment deal. The car actually still runs and haven't had to many problems. I am happy with the deal I got because the car I personally love. My dad was the one who wanted to get the money back but I talked him out of it because that was our fault. I cannot say if you have had negative run in with other people but I am saying I got approached by a guy that brought this to my attention so when I seen your post I said something. I'm not trying to bash you because you may be telling the truth, it is just weird how the guy knew who you were, where you worked and also told me you replaced the head gasket right before you sold it and ran some no smoke through it.

By the way, 4200 dollars today will be buying me a b18cR because it needed a head gasket when I bought the car and was actually one of the 1st things I did and it has blown that one. However it doesn't matter, like you said it was a year and a half ago, the car still runs, and I should have checked the car fax.

 

well the guy apparently doesn't know me then because I never did any maintenance to that car before I sold it. I did put a new head gasket on the 98 integra that I sold that had the LS mesh's that are now on your car that I threw in with the deal. Never in my life have I ran no smoke through a car though. I'm not even really sure what he means by that. I've sold a total of 19 cars since i've been driving and only two of them ended up kind of negative. yours being one because your dad called threatening to take me to court over the mileage but I honestly had no idea. I didn't make any money off that car selling it to you for the price I did but I needed to get rid of cars to pay for my wedding. I had 3 cars at the time that I sold you that car and my wedding was less than 2 months away. The integra I sold I purchased with a bad valve so I replaced the HEAD and headgasket and that solved the valve problem and that kid is still very happy with that car. The second car that I ever had a bad sale with was a 98 or maybe 96 civic not sure that had a 99-00 front end on it. I had the car a total of 3 days. I couldn't finish it and needed a car to drive because my car died. I ended up trading it for a beat to hell 92 civic coupe but at least it ran and drove. The kid test drove my car and although it needed work he drove it home. Two days later it developed a rod knock. Now how could I know that was going to happen? I stated in the sale that I JUST got the car and knew NOTHING about it but I needed a running driveable car.

These are the only two that have EVER not ended with happy people on both sides of the deal. If anyone else thinks otherwise feel free to chime in if you are viewing this thread. Also on the other end if you've ever had a good/great sale, trade or purchase from me feel free to chime in as well.

But no I've never done business with anyone in roanoke till you and definitely don't know anyone that drives a silver bmw. He may have seen the cars I sold on here and I almost always had pictures of them in the best buy parking lot so he may have put that together but I can promise you I've never done business with him and he probably doesn't even know me.
