I posted on your thread on sumo forums. Had a similar issue with mine a while back.

Issue was with using non-abs driveshaft with diff from s14 that had abs. (abs diff flange is like .5-1 inch longer than a non-abs diff----which is why the abs driveshaft is a tiny bit shorter)

It made some noise while driving, but not too bad, but once I put it in neutral to come to a stop, it vibrated really bad.

I noticed a piece in the tail shaft that might be apart of the stock dustboot. I'm thinking that the shaft is rubbing on it and causing it to vibrate.

well you were right ray, i took that dust boot spacer thing off the back of the trans and it stopped making the noise. theres just a little bit of a gap, like half a inch or less gap. hopefully its not going to cause anything. oh and from what i see it doesnt leak oil.

but when i took the driveshaft off oil started coming out, so i put about another half qt in it.

There's supposed to be a gap. I've never seen any shaft sit "flush" to the tail shaft of the tranny. Remember the dust boot I was telling you about before? Thats what usually cover it up but its not really necessary.

As far as the oil leaking, it probably needs a new seal back there.
