I used my iron and steamed each window, then peeled the tint off. It's too easy to pay some place to do.

The easiest way is going to depend on the film itself, different brands come off different ways, and require different methods, there is no "one way" that works for every film. Doors typically you pull off the film, then a NEW razor blade using soapy water or Windex to soften the glue. As far as the rear glass, I would highly recommend just paying the $40 or so to have it stripped by someone that knows what they are doing. You could be there all day working on it and have a mess on your hands quickly if you are not carefull, where a pro could do it a lot of times in 30 minutes or so. The steamer from Walmart probably cost close to that much, and may or may not be the easiest way for the peticular film you have. But I will say this, professional tinters HATE stripping film, it's the hardest money we make as a rule.

Decided to give away a secret that will maybe save some people some money and time. There is one brand of film that is VERY common in the area. If the car was tinted "at the oceanfront" there is a very good chance you have it. It can be pulled off almost completely clean, as long as the glass is warm to the touch, and the film has not started to get blurry (delaminating). Start it in a corner and pull slow and steady.

I removed my tint easy as fuck..

Black trash bag and spray 409 (ammonia spray, has to have ammonia!)..

1. Spray 409 on window
2. Cut and put black trash bag on the window.
3. Let it sit in the sun for a 10min
4. Peel away.

It takes all the sticky with it, just windex and clean. Done.
