But I see what you're saying, plus the GM can be had for way less dough.

There are more than just two MAP sensors on the market. Any MAP sensor that has already had the output curve characterized can easily be used with a tunable ECU.

Specifically what turbo do you have? Sounds like its pretty small and you would benefit from major power increases just by swapping to a bigger one. I typically see the stock MAP sensor signal max out around 10.7psi. If you plan on running close to this level or higher I recommend upgrading the sensor.

Re: Squeezing power from turbo honda
Im running a t3 super60. I know I can get alot more power from swapping turbos but I like the spooling time of this size. I dont want to get much more then 20-30 hp because then im pretty sure ill be overdoing for the type of racing. The car only weighs just under 1800 lbs so I dont need alot.

I think everybody forgot to ask how much you want to spend.
I think a bigger throttle body and a ported and polished head would get you pretty close to where you want to be.
or you could switch over to a Garret dual ball bearing turbo and that should do it. Gt28 would be nice has very fast spool up.
Everybody else has valid point but I was trying to answer your orignal question.

Re: Squeezing power from turbo honda
Thanks everyone for the responses and Ive weighed everything aswell as talked with my tuner. The cheapest easiest way seems to be swapping the map and adding some boost. Im gonna continue to check this thread for ideas and suggestions cause I always like learning something new.
