If the heaviest vehicle youre working on is 3400lbs and the 1.5ton is 3000lbs (1ton = 2000lbs), there you go. But any good car guy knows there can be additional weight not factored in like a full trunk, etc..., that can exceed even the 2ton limit.
Just get the 2ton. That way youll be good to go.
Definitely a Craftsman breaker bar and torque wrench, plenty of PB Blaster, a good solid BFH (rubber and ball peen types), AND at least 3 cheater pipes of varying lengths.
