Cars these days have far too much door and trunk. The beltlines have gotten so high it's silly.

I love it from the door handles forward. Door handles back, not so much.

yessir. i have no idea why BMWs get such a bad rap. they're pretty user friendly as far as most maintenance stuff and parts on the more common vehicles (e34, e36, e46, e39) are relatively inexpensive. i will say that BMW v8 cars like the 740/540 and the v12 cars are significantly more expensive.

because after your subframe cracks and you spill coolant for the 10th time iDrive comes in and punches you in the dick

They are cool cars and obviously something you dont see around much, as far as being a hard car to work on, is that said from experience or just out of hatred for the Audi brand??

I have a 95 S6 and I am no mechanic, but me and a buddy have done all the work ourselves in the driveway (including a big turbo upgrade, which including changing all the water/oil lines, new fuel pump and even ECU chips.)

Did you find one you are looking at? Try the quattroworld forums for more of an answer on the older Audis.

you ever replaced the steering rack on a newer audi? it's a pain in the ass. i also don't like the fact that that generally their control arms are usually made out of different metals that like to fuse together around the balljoints.

Replacing steering racks? Sometimes I forget that not every car is good enough to use recirculating ball
ib4streetracers.
