Had similar problem, if ground looks ok...move it Try it on a pure metal2metal w/o no paint in between. Ya 3/4 gain is fine, so it works everytime then fades out? Try it w/car engine on if you aren't already. Also I'm sure he has the right gauge rating, but just check that anyways, it won't be the fuses if it runs then just fades.

try hooking it up to a known good speaker, coil seperation can cause it, a pinch in a wire can do it also, gotta check for that real good, a single spline touching metal (power or speakers) will cause it ... i dont know what kind of speakers are hooked up, but are over drawing the ohm's? try just one known good sub..... even try disconnecting a friends amp, and running the fosgate from his wires in his car to his speakers .... if none of this works id say its safe to assume the amp is going or gone.

Yeah, I guess that would have been a good question..do you have it at too low resistance?

OH yah, first thing you should do, is hook up your amp to friends working system to determine if it's blown or not

i found out what the problem is....it wasnt the ground nor wires touching...i redid my whole system..checked and double checked the power wire, remote wire, and ground wire...nothin pinched or anything....anyway when i looked at the mainfuse on the power wire itself, i actually took it out to look at it....that was blown on the end part hidden from view...but to save me the trouble i returned the amp and bought me a brand new mono 1 channel amp...the subs are good also...not blown or anything....anyway...thanks for the help fellas....oh by the way...the gain was down on the first amp that i had...i mean all the way down.....same goes for my new amp..and my system hits even harder than the other setup i had....and i do have a 1.1 farad cap...or what we call it...flux-capacitior with 1.21 jigawatts of power..lol
