lol, I can see where this is getting. It is all made together. To get the most torque possible you would concentrate more on the bottom end as opposed to the top end. Yes, when you do bottom end work it will also increase the hp, and vise versa. You know what I am trying to say. You can gain a higher hp to torque ratio by working on the top end or a higher torque to hp ratio by working on the bottom end.
by "working on" i'm assuming you mean "replace", right?
I don't think you can see where this is getting.
.. maybe port and polish your sleeves?

Sleeves, you mean the cylinder walls? When I say work on, I mean hone and bore, larger pistons. Or the alternative... and the cheapest was would be to, like I said before put a b18 or a b20 in it.. although, I am not too sure about the fitment of the b20 in a crx.
I just got seriously confused.. what does he need to do in order to raise his torque? I was thinking maybe some adjustable cam gears WITH cams.. what you think? CHAHONDA, I need your help.
well......for about $500 i can get you around the neighbor hood of 75-100 lbs of additional torque!

He's not going to open the block to get more torque, this is just a project car, maybe he will keep it for a year? I'm talking something he can do now, no serious evasive build. CHAHONDA, what does he need to get that much torque? He has cash.

r u talking about a b20a5, like in the 3 gen ludes??? if so, meh, i wouldn't bother with it. there isn't much aftermarket support for that engine.
now a b20, like out of the CRV, i dunno much of anything about them.
Yes, b20 out of a crv. What kind of number is he looking to get, maybe that would better help us answer the question and why he is in need of more torque?

He has a b16, that's why he needs more torque. We don't care to know about swapping the motor, or block. The swap has been done before he bought it. All we need to know is what this motor responds to best for torque increase. All we need is some modification help to the stock b16. No swapping, this is for the guys that have experience in building b series.
don't think you're gonna find much torque outside of rebuilding the motor with higher compression pistons and a bore and stroke increase. i say slap on a small turbo and be happy.
