car tv screens
as long as you have it hooked up the proper way (grounded to the emergency brace, its legal). if it was completely illegal then shops wouldnt be allowed to install them at all
.i work at one of those shops and install about one a week. ive never really hear bout cops giving people a hard time about it though. you can also hook up the ground wire to a switch so if you do have to demonstrate it. it will work legaly.

maybe nobody heard me or its just hampton that does this and a shop can install illegal car stereo i mean window tinting places will tint your windows illegally(if they carry illegal tint which alot of themdo) for you if you want them to so...
I had an Eclipse indash TV in my car; it doubled as my AM/FM/CD screen. I had it setup to ignore the ebrake, but I got pulled over a few times for it on radio mode. I probably played 5 movies in it over 2 years, less than 15minutes each. All of the cops let me off, but they all found it necessary to let me know that if it's playing a movie and is in direct vision of the driver it's illegal. Anywhere else, they could care less.

nope i got pulled over last night for altered suspension (again) and i had a movie playing with the screen on the headrest and its a reg cab so it was basclly pointing directly out the back window and the cop asked me why i had a dvd player that i couldent watch..i said so other people can watch..and he just laughed and i got off with just a warning about the suspension
The law is funny about this one. Its is against the law to have the screen in the drivers view. HOWEVER, if its the display of the radio or CD then it is ok as long as there is no moving video. It is against the law to haveany animation on the front screen such as a movie.
Im glad cops cant see up into my truck
