Metal buff or black.

Nice car/nice wheels.

Thanks, I've been saving for 11 years. My 87 Celica died right after I made the decision to get a new one. It was like it was saying, "Rob, you've been good to me. Be good to something else."

Why are you getting wider wheels in the rear?

I'm torn between two setups to be honest with you. Although there are no practical applications in a FWD vehicle, the wider wheel in the rear is simply to have a staggered look. One of the reasons I liked the TL was because it has a wider rear wheel well for a FWD car, which means I can get away with more fitment wise. It was/is purely an aesthetics thing.

The other setup is to go 9 wide all the way around with the same offset and a spacer in the rear so I can rotate my tires.

what size tires do you plan on using? I like setup 2 better for a daily driver.

If I go with the 9 I'll probably use a 30 offset and roll my fenders. In terms of tires I was thinking 235/40/18.

If you want fitment options in the back, use spacers or different offset. A wider wheel in the rear will look really silly, especially to anyone who knows what they're looking at (which will be the same people who care about fitment).
