whats up with portsmouth?
Well if you knew what group to follow then you would be able to race....i have been goin out to p town for a while now....and yes lately it has sucked but for the past month I have seen races every weekend....if you were smart you would put togther you own group find a spot and go race. I am tired of hearing people whine about not seeing any races out at p town when they are not putting forth an effort to do anything about it, you can not expect to race every weekend, shit happens and things don't go as planned, all that I am tryin to say is that don't complain about what happens unless you are willing to do something about it, don't leave it up to other people.

and so basically... anyone reading the board.. just follow everyone.
face it people, the cops have been gettin to us, and most of the time, its been a bunch of followers and no leaders. we have been seriously missin out because no one has stepped up. if we really wanna get this into seriousness, we have got to make the step ourselves and not let someone else do it for us. one of the earlier posts says "shit happens and things don't go as planned, all that I am tryin to say is that don't complain about what happens unless you are willing to do something about it, don't leave it up to other people"..which is basically what i'm saying. this aint the fast and furious, this aint california, things need to be done differently out here. this is virginia. we cant go to some industrial area, or stay on main roads, cause all that becomes is a FUBAR. for those who dont know what that is, it stands for Fucked Up Beyond All Repair. now that means racing itself and cars. we got a sweet ass location just to our west, aka surry. southsiders can just go straight west, and peninsula people and use james river bridge, or the jamestown ferry. theres nothing out there except two lane roads, nice open areas to park, and even sweeter, FLAT unbroken pavement......imma shut up for now.....take it easy people.
common sense dictates that when the number of people are fewer due to the 30 degree weather then there will be less racing....but....
There are races every week...We recorded 4 week before last and I know of quite a few this week...just b/c you personally were left out and didnt run doesnt mean no one else did.

instead of tryin to say everyone else is wrong, why dont you share your thoughts with the rest of us, since you know so much einstein. tell us all why we should listen to you..i would really like to know. take it easy hombre
I don't go to P-town to race. I go to hang out with people and check out some cars. So far I've met two new rotorheads out there, it's a good way to bring in more support for rotary powered cars. People do the same thing as I did when I first got here. I just looked around for some car people and followed the crowd.
Anyway, my point being is go to hang out, cause that's all that happens.
