I like my car, and I have no problem dealing with the it's a neon label. I really havent checked to see if the back windows work, but they are the crank up type. The car doesnt turn for shit, and being I have an 03, I could use the LSD.
I am planning on being down later next month, and have one of the first stage 2 (#28) kits on order from mopar, so Im looking foward to seeing some old friends.

whats wrong with an impreza? to me personaly it looks nice as shit and the performance isnt that bad.
are you guys talking about this kind of impreza?
thats the 99 and below impreza. the newer ones aren't that great, but they arent that bad also
and when saying an STI is an impreza, thats just the truth.

15-16k? Doubtful for this kind of performance. 20k is reasonable, and yes it definitely is the best bang for the buck, when I was buying cars I came down to either a 2004 Mustang GT, or a 2004 SRT-4, I chose the SRT because of these reasons:
Insurance: cheaper being a sedan and what not
Speed: out-performs every car in it's category, even beats stang gt's
Rarity: I have one of like 4 that I've seen in Hampton Roads, I'm sure not just 4 are around however.
Mods: Cheap to mod, cost me on average 1k-1500k to make it a 12 second car, high 12's-low 13's in all actuality.
It's a great car, and I enjoy it. If I had 30k to throw in a car I'd buy something bigger and better too, most likely an STi even, but for now, I'm happy

i think ive said this before...
the srt-4 is a great car. its very quick for a stock car of its size. my only dislikes about the new ones are that there 4 door. and it still looks like a neon. i think they should have took more time redoing the exterior.

Maybe thats because it was working like dodge designed it to. This isnt a car that has to get out of its own way before the turbo starts pushing more power smoothly and efficiently.
However I cant say that I have ever been driving at WOT and thinking to myself:
"Geez this is like VTEC"
