I love how it gives cam specs, specifically LSA, but it is supposed to have continuous variable valve timing.

Ford>Chevrolet

Point - 5.8L (351)

I'm actually really excited for the new 5.8, and I hope Ford starts putting it in the 2013/2014 f-150 without a super charger, or maybe with a super charger to bring back the lightning. I'm very curious as to the power numbers of the 5.8 naturally aspirated.

Lots of cool info here for the ford fanboys: LE Click

Also I'm not quite sure why, but I never liked the idea of shutting down half your cylinders to increase mpg. I just see the PCM going nuts and cutting power under WOT or just killing them all while you're trying to make a hair pin turn or something. Though most of us depend on fuel injected motors controlled by a PCM every day so I guess I'm just looking for flaws.

There will still be cam specs. The vvt doesn't change lift and duration, just changes when it occurs.
