Yup same here, its well worth it esp the one from the greenbriar mall, its a nice gym

 

Ive tried now Bally's, Gold's and also some small one on Bonney road... they are also a little spendy and about 30-40 a month... I went to the rec center and pay $38 a year.. and cant beat it. Problem with the rec... the girls arent anything to smile at if you care, the place gets packed as fuck from 4-7...and its a bitch to get in a clean workout without a wait.. or people getting in your mix. I cant put myself to pay $40 a month im not broke by any means but thats just money gone in my opinion. Good luck.

 

I work out at the Va Beach rec center... It's $38.00 a year as opposed to $40.00+/month for other places. Sure inlet and gold's will have hotter chicks (esp. inlet = super trendy) and a bit better equipment, but for me the rec is perfect. I get in there lift and get out... just can't beat the price. Oh yeah there's locations all over the place so you can go to all the different ones.

i think so, the only thing with Balleys is that you have to sign up for a 3 year contract, im not sure if Golds does this

 

YMCA is 23 or 25 a month for teen membership.

 

Golds is 1 year, and unlike Ballys, if you move 10miles away you can cancel no charge.
