I had a 323 GTX engine in my 89 4 Door Mercury Tracer Hatch after I blew the stock one up. Shit was an awesome first car! Bump for a car that'll take some abuse and keep going. This'd be a SICK rallycross project car!

Trust me I wish I could keep it, those were my plans for it in spring bp swap and take it back to awd and rallyx and autox it.

Any crank wobble? Can you take video of it? Maybe it's had a fix already.

No crank wobble, 99% sure previous owner said something about it being done when timing belt, water pump and head gasket was done

Not sure if I can get my camera in there enough to see it or not. But I'll try tomarow when it gets an oil change

Bump, at this price you're really just paying for the mods, the rest of the car is free

So what's missing from the rear end that's keeping it from being awd?

It will need the awd trans and drive shaft. Everything else is there, I was told the transfer case pretty much exploded. The awd transmissions run 400-600 bucks.

It currently has a regular fwd transmission
