That looks stupid

 

Like I said before this isn't an impossible task it's just stupid to spend the money. I can't think of why you'd absolutely have to keep the stock hood which is the only reason anybody would spend that amount of money to have this done.

You would have to
1. Remove the piece you want worked.
2. Build a jig to keep it where it's formed stock. The heat on this thin gauge material would draw heavily.
3. Remove the paint near the vent area
3. Cut the vent out.
4. Fab vents
5. Fight with it to get them in the exact symmetrical spots.
6. Weld the vents in being careful not to burn thru this is not easy on metal 1/16" thick
7. Sand/grind it all smooth
8. Repaint the entire piece
9. Re-install the part
$900 easy any shop or individual charging you less is either in over his head, or doesn't know what they are doing.
Ebay carbon fiber hood with vents already in it $500-900
