Yes, it has to be purple according to the standard. DOT3/4/5.1 has to be clear or amber, which is why Continental can't make ATE Super Blue any more. Stupid reason to stop making something. Someone should make brake fluid dye, because then you could add it yourself after the sale and do the same color contrast during flush/bleed.
Pretty sure they can still make it, it just can't be sold for on road use. I'm betting it comes back with a big "For Off road use only" tag on it.

New cylinder installed and lines flushed. No other issues thanks guys.

Seen worse. Had a customer come in once who had topped off her fluids on her own. ATF in the brake master cylinder.

I know of a guy who's dad did the opposite. Was trying to "help out" and top off what he thought was the master cylinder. Ended up dumping brake fluid into his power steering reservoir.
