Lol at the hate on this thread. STI's are pretty rare if bought from dealers, my friend who placed an order back in November only got his 2 weeks ago..Don't want to pay the markup, don't, but don't lowball just because you think it's worth less.

Personally I think the cars are overpriced even at MSRP, but the market disagrees.

When an icon like the new Corvette or Viper comes out and people are paying a markup to be the first cat on the block to have one, that's "the market". This is just faggot nutswingers who think being the first person to have the latest version of a sporty Impreza (as the second owner. Oh, the irony) somehow justifies a $5k markup.

 

^true, but take a look at how much 1-5 year old STI's are going and you'll see the resale value is pretty darn high. They are still a fairly rare vehicle, especially those that haven't been modded to shit. I would never pay $30k+ for a tarted up Impreza, hell I paid a couple grand less than that for my limited 2012 wrx hatch. But even now, I'm selling it because it truly is just a tarted up impreza, a car that's literally worse than a civic.

 

I wouldn't go that far. At least they aren't wrong wheel drive. The boxer motors are pretty cool too.
