You could probably pick up a late 90s Civic for 3000 as long as you're getting it from a middle age couple and not some kid on Vadriven.
Or a 52 yo refusing to grow up (me). Anyone want to buy a PINK 99 si with 8-16 bent valves that needs a timing belt? The youth today have a serious problem with reality and extremely unrealistic expectations>
Regards
Dave
You can find a decent running 180hp rated Nissan Sentra SE-R spec V.... For around $3k.
Justmake sure the head gasket isn't leaking and it's actually better if the engine was replaced.... Resale value is shit cuz of secondary butterfly valve screws and 1st cat recalls... Cars easily sell @ $5+k within Nissan communities in mint condition
I'm hoping to pick up a TDI when prices drop. Good commuter cars love the tq.
Yep. Mine isn't going anywhere. I just hope they don't somehow force a reflash. I was in the dealer for routine maintenance last weekend and the place was like a ghost town. I don't know if this was the hurricane, the scandal or both. I asked about the TDI fix and they said nothing yet but a lot of customers are exercising their right to refuse service when one does come. I will be one of those.
