They dont do it all the time on an eclipse unless you dont change them ..or the accessories they are powering worked their way loose and caused fraying in the belt.
There is 3 on the eclipse and the OEM ones cost 88 and some change total.

well when i bought my car the belts squeaked, the problem. The previous owner would clean the belt with WD-40.. im young and dont know much but i know that's pretty dumb, because the only way i could get rid of the squeal was by washing it with soap and water everyday for 1 whole week. O yea and this is after i checked the belt tension, it was straight, and my dumbass ALMOST bought a new belt... some people r smarter than others??
