The problem with that is, once the car is drifting to the point where steering isn't keeping the car going the same direction, if you let off the gas, the REAR WHEELS CATCH TRACTION and the car starts going the direction the front wheels are turned, which is exactly what happened.
thats correct... its actually not that hard... a key for all those who have RWD, if you start sliding in one direction KEEP THE WHEEL STRAIGHT and ease off the gas, you will slide a little, but within 10-15 feet you will be back straight... correcting is often the worst mistake

(an example of correction is the worst mistake is 3 mile island's meltdown... if the guy in charge of it fell asleep or didn't do anything, nothing would have happened, but he saw a problem, overcorrected and the rest is history)

so, when you're sliding, think of 3 mile island

I was dum too man on Friday b4 the meet I had some time off work so on route 50 exit to Fair Oaks mall I was in 3rd lane and almost miss the exit so I took a sharp turn I was stupid because I careless cuz I got 18" and wide ass tires but shiett I almost crash into the curb man I am luckly got back in control luckly no one was behind me my car was like a snake winding and shiet btw I drive an accord sedan.

Well his thinking was something along the lines of "yay rear wheel drive car let me turn ASC off so I can do a cool drift....in the rain...."

Um it drifted alright.

Two seconds earlier we were talking about how dsmspyder looooves his drifts so the dude was like.. mmk watch THIS!

Not so much..

I must admit it was pretty badass untill we started heading towards a field full of pine trees.
