If it really was a turbo'd 99+ in this area I would love to see it.

The turbo kits out now for the newer stangs are pretty pricey, and you need a good tuner as well w/ some experience.
This is why the majority of newer stang owners go with a blower.

Ive read about a few on stang boards in other areas w/ turbos and the numbers even on low boost are just plain nasty, esp the TQ.

the kits are extremely pricy 5-8g's for the kit. but the numbers you can get are ludacris. i have a feeling it was supercharged.

It was SCed, but alot of people get confused from the outside. My blower has a pretty nasty turbo sound but I am really SC. I am actually have something in the works right now that everyone will shock and awe about in a few months

I skipped the most part of this thread. But prochargers and VORTECH supercharges can be used with intercoolers. I do not know about using a blowoff valve though.

A lot of the newer blowers sound a lot like turbos, especially the Kenne Bell Blowzillas

Procharger kits come with intercoolers and the novis can add one to the kit as an option just like vortechs (aftercooler though). Fast track also makes an intercooler that can be used with various kits.
There are some guys that "blowoff" to the atmosphere with superchargers too. Even a local or 2. Just FYI.
