Just to clear up potential confusion: if a place is good, say they're good, and why. If a place is bad, say they're bad, and why.
story 1 @ coxtons auto body few years ago mother of my child was hit in back driver side quarter.like the dummy she is she took it to coxton's auto body in york county.they had i would guess to be stevie wonder to weld new quarter on it.crooked as hell.the hatch on pasenger side had correct gapall the way down.driver side of hatch at very back of car was rubbing on quarter and towards top of hatch on driver side had big gap.according to jr coxton this is just a slight hatch adjustment.i was like hahahahaha the shit is welded crooked.then on top of that at very bottom of eclipse have like a rock guard at bottom along both sides they didn't put on her quarter they welded on and you can see plain as day.then on top of that didn't even paint about the bottom 2 inches of the quarter.story 2 my mother wrecked her car.she was pulling out a driveway and couldn't see around another car and a car came along and knocked her front end over alil from driverside towards passengerside and she couldn't get hold of me.so she didn't know where to send her car to get fixed.so she asked her insurance adjuster and he suggested coxton's(inwhich he isn't allowed to do that).so she gets her car back and she asked me to come over cuz she said her car is pulling hard to the right.so i get over there and was like hahahaha.they didn't straighten the car.front end was still pointing to the right.driverside fender was rubbing hood and passengerside had about 1/2 inch gap.the grill was at a 45 degree slope and both headlight pointed towards right side.she said oh that is why i can't see at night.duh.bumper cover was put on over a bumper that wasn't replaced.so it was sticking out kinda far on right hand side.the green paint was nowhere near the same color.and to top there was a long piece of hair in paint right above driver's door handle(plain as day) and other trash also.then they wetsanded the driver's door in effort to blend the darker green into old lighter shade green and in process they wetsanded the back door also on accident about 2 inches and didn't fix that just left it all scratched up.and when i took car back jr and glenn came out and jr said what's wrong with car it looks great.lol.i use to work there about 15 years ago or more and he still hasn't changed.he rushes you and tries to cut corners and reuse parts that were suppose to be replaced so much.half the jobs people don't accept when they come to pick them up and he has to redo them again.but then there is the people that don't know anything and are like well it's shiny so it must be fixed.that is where he tries to make his $ on the lil old ladies and such.and before that guy on here that works at coxton's says oh we paint 100 cars aweek says anything how many of those 100 paint jobs are rejected?don't lie
about none of the cars i paint are rejected there istwo painter one that paints the old beat up peices of shit like your moms car and then there is the painter that paints the nice new cars , as for the trash in the paint show me a paint job that has no trash in it and i can guarntee it has been buffed no matter what u do thrash gets in paint our booth cost over two million dollars and no matter what you do your gonna get some lint or a piece of your hair in a job.i cant speak for the body man i dont look at how ther panels and stuff line up but i have never seen a problem but i dont really look.and like u said before you have a friend that works at bowdicch taht says he fixs our fuk ups all the time we fix alot of peoples fuk up but we dont go around bragging about we just do our job , btw if you know so much about this stuff why dont you own your own shop and then we can all bring our cars the to get them fixed perfectly every time
i dropped my car off at Pohanka auto collision services 3 weeks ago, the estimated time was 2 weeks.. its been an extra 7 days, i called them up, the reception girl gives me hardcore attitude.. i ask her to find out (from someone) a date that they think it'll be done.. she tells me "since my job is 3000 dollars, and its 1000 a week so its gona take 3 weeks." that was the most bullshit excuse i've ever heard.. so in conclusion.. Pohanka auto collision services in chantilly virgina. procrastinates on your project, never gets shit done and has horrible coustomer service.
Some girl pulled out in front of my wife about 2 months ago. My wife t-boned her. These were taken the day it happened.

The car is a 2001 Volvo V70 T-5 we paid $24,500 for less than 8 months prior to the accident. The car is a Volvo certified vehicle with a full warranty to 100k miles.
The body shop's original estimate put the repairs at $11,000. Total cost of the repairs was over $18,000. Well over the 75% of the car's value. Now I'm stuck with a car that is less than perfect. I got to the body shop as they pulled the car into the paint booth. They assembled the entire car, then masked off the trim, shot it & delivereed it to us the next day. The paint is not blended well at all and has begun to peel on the bumper cover. There is overspray everywhere, I have numerous electrical problems and have had to take it back to get things fixed 3 times now.
The car should have been totalled, but it wasn't and because of Virginia law I have to disclose to the next buyer that the car was in a major accident or risk being sued. I don't think I could even get $17,000 for the car if I were to sell it. The car is worth over $20,000 according to KBB with all the options.
By all means, avoid Custom Auto Body in Virginia Beach on Jensen drive.
