Maybe, try bleeding it and see if any fluid comes out.

Maybe when he said the clutch was out he meant he took it out

Yea cause id really hate to order all this stuff, and then tear it down, and then it just be something like a cylinder or something easier to fix

Yea come to find out, he put the clutch in 8 months ago, but didnt give it a breakin in period He just put it in then drove like a maniac. So im thinking it is the clutch and not that actual transmission ::thank god:: Cause i can put it into every gear and none of them stall out. So it prolly just the clutch and the pressure plate. But atleast i got a weekend project now.

as long as you have a "normal" clutch pedal feel, and it returns back up when released, its not a problem with hydraulics.

on the same note, if you have the speedo moving when you put it in gear, and you dont move, then it is either a driveshaft or diff issue...which i dont see being the problem either.

clutch, yes, esp being its on a "fad car" that everyone wants to race i have seen clutches break the hub from the center of them, blow all the springs out so the clutch wont release, explode and take out the bellhousing (and legs of driver if not careful!) etc....

there is a remote possibility that the mainshaft of the tranny is broken....but you would hear that.

and that is a relatively easy clutch to do...good starter!
