This thread is dead but this update is for search purposes and anyone who cares....probably nobody but oh well
Croatan is open from 6am-8pm everyday and they charge $20/hour to park so stop going there

he's actually talking about swedge. happens at high tide at croatan right by the jetti. its called Swedge because its a shitty wedge. little peaky left forms when the conditions are right. its pretty trendy. hehe

Okay I have surfed there a couple of times and I guess it kind of looks like the Little Tikes "My First Wedge". I have been slammed and pitted in the real thing and nothing compares to it. Well nothing next to the jetty at Croatan.

nah actually i tried 80th street for the first time today and was 1 of 5 or 6 people within sight. Much better than 1st or croatan as far as crowds go....as far as swell goes we will have to wait till monday to see (waist to shoulder report from surfline)
