Cop cars are typically heavier than your average bear. Think about all the equipment they're bogged down with. Besides, you can't outrun the radio.

NY state also has Camaro cop cars. I've never seen one in VA though, although I have seen a Mustang or two. In Warrenton, VA, they called the Mustang cop car the "Grey Ghost." Scary....

 

On the way to dinner tonight I saw a female cop from Chesterfield out of her car writing a ticket. Well needless to say she was hot not what I was expecting for a female officer. Maybe I will get lucky enough to be pulled over by her
