Death of the Celica
Do you mean a Honda K20 or a Rover K20? The Elise had a Rover K20 in it until now.. Rover K-series aren't the best engines; not known for being trouble free..
Toyota is going to become a pure family car atfer 2005 I guess. Their Scion division is a joke, and Lexus's only sportscar will be the SC Class. Never liked Toyota anyways, the discontinued their only best car (MKIV) quite awhile ago.

I just think Toyota knows that the Celica isn't going to be able to compete with it's own tC. I'd take a tC over a Celica any day.. even though I'm not too fond of either of them..
The Scion tC was the replacement for the Celica. The Celica was overpriced, but a nice car. The tC, overall, is what the Celica should've been.
Also, in light of the positive feedback that the new 2005 Ford Mustang has gotten, Chevrolet is strongly considering bringing back the Camaro. Chevrolet has been trying to figure out what car to use on GM's new Zeta RWD Platform. Chevy is trying to figure out whether to redesign the Monte Carlo as a V8 powered RWD sports car on this new platform, or to bring back the Camaro for 2007. Either way, the car will share the platform with the next generation Pontiac GTO in 2007. I figure a 2007 Camaro would sell better than a 2007 Monte Carlo if they plan on pitting it against V8 Mustangs.

tC is a really nice car. I work at the dealership and have driven a tC a few times. That thing is pretty nice. It defently feels quicker down low than a GTS. Not too sure about up high tho, can't raelly feel it without having a celica side by side with it on the high way.
