it is actually only 5 to watch. traffic is a bitch in manassas, so we usually leave a couple hours before they open and just get some food down there or something. it beats waiting 1 and a half hours in rush hour traffic. and they close at 8

 

Track is right off 28 correct? I got directions off mapquest...they made it seem like you turn off 28 onto a road and you're pretty much there.

 

What is a good time to arrive at the track?

 

I was planning on showing up around 5.

Had a lot of fun and saw some cool cars. Definitely going again next week

I got about 4-5 runs in myself, all of which I am disapointed in. I had never run at a track before, and the launch there is so much different than on the street. I launched it like I did on the street, and bogged it almost every time.

Because of those bogged launches, my 60ft times were shit.

My best was a 10.505@66.54mph with a terrible 2.7 60ft.

I think at the track I need to launch at some higher rpms and I'll be ok. Still alot of fun though, some cool Grand Nationals and a pimp Evo
