the v8 handles the power very very well as i hear...but the kit costs something like $20 g's

there is no manual tranny on either of the GS models, the 5 speed is a 5 speed auto, not manual. It is the nicest 5 speed auto i have ever felt. You can almost control it like a manual tranny on the highway with the gas pedal. If you get one you will learn the tolerances of the tranny and know how much gas to give it to chose gears. e shift is ok, but the car knows more about when to shift then you do, so it is pretty much worthless in my mind. I've seen a twin turbo gs400 turn low 12's at mir, so if you have the money, go for it. Never seen a 430 turboed, but theres nothing wrong with more displacement.
