I drove w/o a spoiler for a few weeks, I can't decide which I like better. I like it with and without. I think though, when I get my rims and shit, I'll be going wingless for good and covering my holes.

The guy with the blue wingless SRT w/ gunmetal rims is pretty cool, his car pulls hard as a mo-fo in 3rd gear, I raced him lol.

Mopar set up the ECU so that when you downshift or let off the gas, it will add a little more fuel so that it makes a rumbling sound. fuckin retarded if ya ask me.

I agree about the spoiler. The only thing the GTI has on the SRT is that it's a two door and the interior is better. The SRT is faster stock (A LOT), easier to make faster, less expensive, IMO looks better stock than a GTI. If you want to bench race I think they handle about the same, although the SRTs now come with an LSD. The SRT also comes with better rubber and more ground clearance Also doesn't come standard with about 30 electrical gremlins like the VDUB does.

Don't let all that stuff about the Mopar Stage upgrades being warrantied by every dealer be there deciding factor either. There are plenty of dealers that have tried and will try to void warranties for just Stage1. Just like every other manufacturer there are dealers that are mod-friendly and there are the one's that will try to void your powertrain warranty for a short shifter. There are a couple of shortcomings... the turning radius is fuckin huge, the stock wheels are 6" wide, and you'll get all of those wonderful neon comments everyone loves to fling around.

IMO there are no other cars in the segment that I would rather have. It's by far the fastest, it can keep up when the roads get twisty and has infinite potential.

Sorry for the thread hijack Andrew.
