k20a3 160hp...2.0L ivtec..POS unless you boosting.
k20a 220hp 2.oL ivtec, responds outstanding to mods...already over 200whp out of JDM ITR DC5

if you want allmotor honda power gotta go with K20a2 or k20a
Ill stick with my h22a prelude which beats k20a2's and k20a3's stock

While Im tryin to get the H22A motor in my 5th gen Accord what is the problem with having the type SH motor. When I'm looking for parts most if all wont work on the type SH motor. Im also thinking about the type-s motor with a bigger compression rate. Please help

SH motor is the same as the basemodel 5th gen motor...it is the h22a4....it's hp rating has been rumored to be a scam and actually comes with the same amount of hp as the h22a1...biggest/only different between them that i am aware of is the floating wrist pins in the h22a4 which will give u like 2 more hp than the h22a1....anyway.....either get the h22a (jdm) which has higher compression and more hp than the usdm model or the type S motor which is extremely expensive for the 20 extra hp....u could just buy an h22a and get type s cams and pistons if u wanted a type S for much cheaper

other motor to consider would be the f20b(jdm accords) and the h23 vtec (99 accord wagon) both are cheaper and the h23 vtec comes with great torque and power than the jdm h22a
