not if you use a switching valve. it directs the supply and return line to the correct tanks.
pretty simple, however, get a new one....it will drive you nuts if you use an old one that is bad!

i dont care! hell, i about got an asswhippin for dry humping this dude down heres GN at Fast Freddies last year.....it was ghetto one too (the powerstroke IC with no grille ) but, it was pretty quick....
and yes, one off a ford truck will work fine. like i said, if you are gonna do it, get a new one.
alky or meth inj. will be better, but if you want to do a seperate tank, more power to ya.
