how you like it man ??? , we looked at the r32 after it came out , i just couldnt see paying the extra 10 grand when that 10k could make the 1.8t a fucking monster , but i do love the fact that its a 6 with awd , you plan on doing any motor work ???
I've always been a huge fan of the Mk2 Golf Rallye edition, but it was never officially available in the states. Great power, all-wheel-drive, sexy looks, etc. Now that the R32 is out, it fulfills all of those desires. In my mind, I think 29k is a bargain. And considering I only pay $66.50/month for full coverage insurance, it makes it even that much more of a value. I absolutely love the VR6 and the Haldex 4-motion really grips when you need it. People on Vortex have been pulling 13.6-13.8 1/4 mile times with just a chip and 1.8 60ft times. Not bad for a comfortable daily driver that can perform when needed. IMO, it is simply perfect. Check Vortex, there are even a few STi owners that have moved to the R32 and have not looked back.
