It's 1600lbs, which wouldnt require all that much power to make fast. Something like 330-350hp.

 

And I doubt they made that power without opening the block. I'm sure they bumped up the compression and used lightweight internals.

and a k20 has 11:5 which what they are using most likely...even though there isnt a big difference between 20 and 20a2.

but in a 1600-1800 pound all out drag car..how much power would it take to run 9s???
