i work at best buy... and they yell at u if you try and buy shit for other people, and the discounts for certain things arent that great.. the real discounts are on accesories

 

the discount is you pay 5% over cost for all items in the store. that really makes a big difference

 

which bestbuy do you work at? im at the NN store, i assume you are too because of the location under your screen name. and they wont just yell at you for using your discount for others, its called they FIRE you.

 

it really does make a difference. but what he is trying to say is that some items we sell are at cost or close to it. pretty much all the computers are at cost and our discount is nearly nothing on them. same thing with video games, cds, and dvds. sometimes there will be a few dollars off those. cell phones have a generous discount, along with all the accessories in the store(around 50% off).

 

eh, they dont know if you use it for someone else or not, just say its for your mom, they allow you to buy things for your parents.

 

cousin works at one in northdakota and they keep records of what you buy on your discount and even do personality profiles to see if anything odd shows up that suggest you are buying stuff for other people. so if you buy alot of one item then it looks odd and if you buy 3 washing machines and they know you live in an apartment or college dorm then FIRED
