Factory performance packages are cool, if you're talking about a Lingefelter TT vette, or a custom Porsche from Roush. 
My NISMO parts seem top quality so far; but it would be nice to be able to get them from someone other than an overseas dealer, and to have a warranty on them. Don't see that happening though, as it is apparent that they are used for racing applications.
I also like finding/using parts that nobody else has, or has even heard of. So I'd have to say that both options have their benefits (reliability vs originality).
