regardless, the tail lights are staying whith whatever i do because they are one of the signatures of that car. i think the wheels and suspension are going to be first. but i really want to do the gs300 ecu swap. i hear its good for about 70-90 extra horsies.

Thats doubtful. You'd be lucky to get that out of a factory detuned turbo car. Definitely not on a n/a. If you want to do something cool, find JDM motor mounts for the 3SGE version and see if you can't swap in a 3sgte. I'm not sure what kind of fabrication would be reguired. You'd be going down from a n/a 6 to a turbo 4 though.

Hey I just said you if you want to do something cool. I didn't say practical. Actually I was under the impression turboing the 2jz in the car is stupid expensive. 3sgte might be cheaper depending on the fabrication and such. The 3sgte will be lighter up front as well as giving you more hood room to work with. I'd personally just swap in the 3sge, but I like peaky n/a 4s.

Nm, thats a heavyass car. It'd be slow as a bitch with a 3sge. I wonder how the Japanese deal with that.
