that could be the turbo setup as well. if he gets crower turbo cams and a shitty t3 turbo, it isn't going to feel the same.

indeed, but im going to assume hes going to buy a kit, if he does...no kits these days come with shitty T3's.... im saying with the right parts the LS could be good, its what i would personally choose. take it with a grain of salt

i think i'm heading for the LS non v-tec boost. I only ask about V-tec because I think it's one of the best things about honda motors, besides low liters and strong power. Was thinkin about going all motor with a gs-r or ls v-tec. But I love the sound of turbo espically hearing that blow-off valve everytime you shift. Intercoolers make the car look evil! lol. I think B16's are decent, but not the best towards boosting or builing it.

So what's really wrong with ls v-tec on boost? or v-tec and boost all together

LS-boost-hondata think of your wallet first, and plans? 200hp? 300hp? 400hp? almost anyone on here will tell you they would be happy with 400whp. unless you have bigger sights and a deeper wallet is a different story.

i rode in a buddy of mines car, he had a T3/T04 (im pretty sure) on an LS and it was an absolute BLAST. he was 300+whp

honestly I had a T3-To4e...selling it....waxed everything on the street...by the time V-TEC kicks in ....they-re waxed...

yeah theres a lot of v-tec making numbers, but Im a true believer of "skrate horsepower"

"I have the complete built LS swap...VTEC its over-rated...PIMP-IT-CHEAP....!!!
build 2-for-the-price-of-one!

on the street...I waxed VTEC all day long...still do it...can't beat the torque, but you can play catch up with VTEC!

so basically, if you have boost, v-tec is really useless unless your goin all motor. And why is an LS the best to boost? I know it has something to do with the compression rate of the motor.

because it's cheap. why spend an extra g just for a little power when you can spend that g for sleeves to crank the boost up.
